Plumbing work was on time and as promised. Alec even came up with a new fix for a hose bib that did not require moving of a natural gas service line. It was quicker and less expensive. Very superior work!

I had a very disappointing experience with Backlund Plumbing / Zoom Drain. I called to have my drain line camera inspected and was told by the lady on the phone that pricing started at $199. I clearly explained that I wanted the drain snaked or camera inspection done from the rooftop. When the technicians arrived, they suddenly told me it would be $199 plus an extra $100 because it required a second guy to go on the roof.
What frustrated me most is that I had already explained this over the phone, and I even told them I was willing to go on the roof with them since it’s not a steep or dangerous roof. None of this extra pricing was explained beforehand. When I questioned it, I was basically left with “that’s just how it is,” so I decided to just have them do it from inside instead.
As soon as they started the camera inspection, it felt like the focus immediately shifted to selling me expensive repairs. They kept telling me how clogged my line was, how bad everything looked, and claimed that if I snaked it, it could collapse my cast-iron line because of tree roots.
The problem with that story is that from my house to the street, the sewer line was already replaced with plastic in 2014 because of tree roots, and that tree was removed after I bought the house in 2022. The front sewer line was also replaced in 2014. It felt like they were either not listening or trying to scare me into unnecessary work.
I later had another plumber come out who told me that Zoom Drain is known for trying to upsell customers on services they may not actually need. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I expected much better service and honesty, but instead it felt very pushy and misleading. Honestly, it reminded me of Burton Plumbing.

When we moved into our new house, our plumbing got backed up. Backlund Plumbing did a great job fixing the problem. They were responsive and on top of it. It's been over a year since we've moved in and thankfully haven't experienced any additional problems. I appreciate their integrity and honesty too.

Alex from Backlund was great. He showed up earlier than expected, and he explained everything that he was doing when installing our new hot water heater. He was quick and respectful of our home and kept things really clean. He was careful when moving the new hot water through our house and down the stairs. Thank you!

This is a wonderful company! They're experienced, hardworking and really care about their customers. I've been a client for 15 years and have never had a bad experience with them. In a time when most repair companies are really slacking off, Backlund remains professional, trustworthy and completely customer-centered. Highest recommendation!

Only company I could get to call me back on a Friday evening, then sent a service representative out on saturday. Their service tech Alex was fast, friendly, knowledgeable and got the problem taken care of in less than an hour. Price was more than fair for a weekend emergency call, half of what I was expecting. Five star service!

The plumbing was repaired in a way that the water had to flow uphill to the main. It was corrected the next day. I was also charged for 2 hours labor for them to leave and get material for the job.

Sheldon was a lifesaver. I originally had a different plumber come and look and was given a quote of 13k to get everything back to how it should be, I was a little weary paying this as it felt like they were just trying to get as much money as they could and change everything out so I opted for another quote from Backlund before I decided and thank god I did. Sheldon came out and looked over everything and was just as surprised as me when I let him know what the other plumber was wanting to fix. Sheldon was in and out within an hour with the issue fixed for a couple hundred. Quite the change from 13k. Couldn't recommend Backland more and Im thankful I have found a reliable plumber as I am new to Omaha.
